A great result!
Qualifying for the official World Cup was great already, but then also almost making it to the top 20 is a huge achievement.
Tailwind Wheels ambassador Tristan Olij delivers a strong result! He finished in 22nd position, 17 minutes behind the lead position.
Olij: "What. A. Day. Proud to have finished my first Ironman World Championship! Felt like I died 10 times in those last 15 km — the run course was brutal! Dizzy, running on pure willpower, but somehow made it to the finish."

Tailwind Wheels rider Tristan Olij finished second on Saturday at the European Long Distance Championship in Almere. Olij seemed on his way to the European title, but was overtaken shortly before the finish by Will Draper from Great Britain.
